Without knowing more about your assumptions, it's difficult to say if implementing eCRM would require new business infrastructure and additional hardware. It's entirely dependent upon the scope of the eCRM project, the existing IT assets within your company, and your approach. It's possible to implement eCRM with very little new infrastructure, especially if selecting an outsourced solution. On the other hand, a large eCRM project could require a substantial investment in systems infrastructure. Again, it all depends on a firm's current situation, expected goals, and eCRM approach.
