SAP is running on-demand solutions on isolated or single tenancy. Single tenancy is a low-risk environment. SAP also partnered with IBM for application hosting, and IBM hosted services are over a unified security framework. The security foundation includes key security mechanisms at multiple solution layers, vulnerability assessment and management, intrusion prevention and detection and data vaulting at the server layer.
