It depends how you define "lead the CRM market." Last year SAP probably did slightly surpass Siebel (new license sales) in terms of market share. But the number of customers and users for Oracle/Siebel/PeopleSoft CRM surpasses SAP by a very, very wide margin. The CRM space is relatively mature and, together, all of Oracle's products account for over 40% of new license sales. I expect these two giants will continue to battle it out with no major change in market share over the long term.
