QUESTION POSED ON: 29 September 2003
Mobile CRM seems far fetched in nations with developing economies especially in South East Asia although the population of mobile devices and hand phones is high. Do you foresee mobile applications especially mobile CRM, making a dent in encouraging corporations to deploy mobile applications?

EXPERT RESPONSE
Mobile CRM will not flourish without the proper infrastructure in place. Additionally, mobile CRM has to be simple, easy, reliable, and cost effective for it to succeed. Otherwise, it simply isn't a viable option for businesses or their customers.
