Salesforce.com and Sprint announce strategic alliance
Salesforce.com and Sprint PCS have allied to provide Salesforce's online CRM suite as part of the Sprint PCS Wireless Web for Business. Sprint PCS customers that subscribe to Salesforce will be able to wirelessly access the online CRM applications and data through their Internet-ready cell phones.

United System Solutions partners with ITFactory
United System Solutions, a Lotus Premier Business Partner, has formed a partnership with ITFactory, an international supplier of Notes/Domino business objects, intended to bring Microsoft-to-Lotus integration capabilities into United's CRM solution. Maximizer Enterprise for Notes (ME4N), United's CRM product, provides users with a suite of native Notes applications to develop and retain key customer relationships. The partnership will integrate IT Factory's BowTie product, which enables bi-directional file and data sharing between Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office, into United's Maximizer Enterprise for Notes CRM product.
iPlanet and SAS to assist online billing
SAS Institute and iPlanet E-Commerce Solutions are integrating SAS e-Intellingence, data mining and analytical CRM software with the iPlanet BillerXpert software for Internet bill presentation and payment. This will allow iPlanet BillerXpert customers to access, manage and analyze their customer and billing data to predict customer behavior, evaluate and segment customers and understand customer preferences.
Knowledge Impact and Witness Systems deliver e-learning to customer contact centers
Knowledge Impact, Inc. and Witness Systems have announced a new relationship to offer enhanced e-learning to their customers. The partnership will specifically address customer sales and service representatives' skills, knowledge levels and quality of service delivery in order to meet customers' needs. Knowledge Impact will provide electronic learning content for CRM and enterprise resource planning (ERP), which will be delivered to agents' desktops through Witness Systems' eQuality Now software.
Lotus and Relavis form global alliance
Relavis Corporation and Lotus Corporation have allied for worldwide joint marketing, collaborative selling, software integration and shared implementation services. The alliance will promote Relavis' CRM software, Relavis eBusinessStreams. The software leverages the collaboration abilities of Lotus Domino through Lotus Notes, Sametime and Quickplace.
