Pivotal continues European expansion activities

Pivotal Corporation has announced continued expansion in Europe with the opening of offices in the United Kingdom, a series of joint Microsoft-Pivotal executive events throughout Europe and a CEO speaking tour with Pivotal's president and CEO. The company also has announced the general availability of localized software for the European market in French, German and Spanish.

Quintus announces purchase agreement with Avaya

Quintus Corporation has entered into an agreement with Avaya Inc., in which Avaya will acquire substantially all of Quintus' assets for $30 million in cash and assume certain of Quintus' liabilities up to an additional $30 million. Upon completion of the proposed purchase, Avaya will incorporate Quintus' eCRM business as a key component of its CRM portfolio, which currently includes interactive voice response (IVR), workflow management, intelligent routing and predictive dialing.

Hyperion enhances e-CRM analysis applications

Hyperion has announced new versions of four eCRM analysis applications. These products help businesses optimize their CRM and e-business investments by integrating, analyzing and understanding customer attributes and behaviors across all customer touch points. The upgraded products include Hyperion Web Site Analysis Suite, Hyperion Customer Interaction Center, Hyperion Field Service Analysis and Hyperion Product Quality Analysis.

Firm unveils consistent, real method for data warehousing

Core Integration Partners, Inc. has unveiled a methodology that provides a consistent, repeatable process for building a data warehouse across almost any industry. This approach, called The Matrix Methodology, incorporates industry-wide best practices with concrete deliverables. It includes a Data Vault that uses a normalized data warehouse to integrate all information from star schemas or data marts under a single business functional area.

Harte-Hanks and E.piphany extend relationship

Harte-Hanks, Inc. and E.piphany, Inc. have announced that the two companies will extend their two-year old relationship to expand market reach. Harte-Hanks will become an application service provider (ASP) and reseller of E.piphany products, and it will also develop E.piphany-based, Harte-Hanks-branded CRM software, including specific applications for mid-sized companies in selected industries. E.piphany will offer the Harte-Hanks Trillium Software System technology as an option with E.piphany's E.5 technology.
