Salesforce.com plans to deliver global CRM in nine business days

San Francisco-based Salesforce.com is challenging Oracle's CRM in 90 days initiative with its own, "Nine Days to CRM Success." The initiative includes sales force automation, customer support management and marketing automation components. The software is fully functional and fully customized in as little as nine business days, Salesforce.com said. The implementation process includes gaining an understanding of a company's business needs, importing and integrating data and customizing the application.
Stratabase releases open-source CRM platform for the enterprise
The open-source software movement gained further momentum with Abbotsford, B.C.-based Stratabase's release of new CRM software. Stratabase's open-source CRM software and hardware are designed to allow companies to practice CRM with sales force automation and email marketing. Companies can also use the software to manage sales relationships and contacts, automate forecasting and track and manage large-scale custom email campaigns.
Allegis, Silicon Space team to deliver PRM
San Francisco-based Allegis Corp. and Silicon Space Inc. of San Diego have announced a partnership to provide partner relationship management (PRM) software to Global 2000 companies. The software will allow its customers to increase revenues and partner loyalty. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will work together to combine the Allegis eBusiness Suite of PRM software with Silicon Space's consulting services.
Harland Financial Solutions announces new CRM software
Atlanta-based Harland Financial Solutions has released new CRM software, Touche, designed to allow financial institutions to manage its customer relationships at every point of contact. Major capabilities include contact management, sales tracking, referral management, problem resolution and escalation, campaign management, and prospect management. Harland Financial Solutions plans to integrate the functionality of Touche with its existing Deposit Pro- and Laser Pro-compliant deposit and loan origination systems.
Remedy teams with Cambridge University, IDC for new CRM research
Remedy Corp., headquartered in Mountain View, Calif., has announced the launch of a new research program, in partnership with Cambridge University and Framingham, Mass.-based IDC. The program is a response to customer demand from managers and directors who feel they lack the bandwidth to research every business issue and are looking for an informed opinion to reduce risks. The papers include case studies, empirical research and hope to impart a new understanding of customer needs and behavior.
