Bellevue, Wash.-based Onyx Software Corp. and its partner, Medfield, Mass.-based STAR Information Technology, have integrated the Onyx CRM suite with Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Microsoft Office XP. Customer information captured in Onyx will be accessible to users through SharePoint Portal Server and Office XP. Working with Microsoft and Onyx, STAR Information Technology converted the Onyx Employee Portal interface into Web Parts that can be plugged into the Digital Dashboard of Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server.
RCG IT joins Siebel alliance program
Edison, N.J.-based RCG Information Technology Inc. (RCG IT) has joined the Siebel Alliance Program as a base consulting partner. RCG IT will focus on providing integration services for Siebel eBusiness 2000, MidMarket Edition and Compaq systems. RCG IT's ebusiness integration program combines Siebel's software with Compaq's hardware. The company provides strategy, implementation and customization of the products. It is aimed at mid-market companies.
Interact Commerce announces ACT! 2000 compatible with Office XP
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Interact Commerce Corp. has announced that all versions of ACT! 2000, including international versions, are compatible with Microsoft Office XP. A simple selection switches users from the internal ACT! word processor to Microsoft Word for all ACT! functions. A free patch enables ACT! 2000 users to maintain all of the Word functionality they are accustomed to when they upgrade to Office XP.
Stratabase announces Cisco-enhanced CRM
