Edify announces Electronic Workforce 7.1
Santa Clara, Calif.-based Edify Corp., a CRM software provider, has announced the availability of Edify Electronic Workforce 7.1, which fully supports Microsoft Windows 2000 and XML. The XML support provides data interoperability across various types of hardware and software. Support for Windows 2000 Server enhances the scalability and performance of the Edify Virtual Customer Service Representative (vCSR).
AIM releases new version of HelpDesk Expert
Las Vegas-based Applied Innovation Management Inc. (AIM) has announced the release of Version 6.5 of the Expert family of Web-based CRM software. This includes HelpDesk Expert for IT Support, HelpDesk Expert for Customer Support, Bug/Defect Tracking Expert, Asset Expert and Change Management Expert.
Neiman Marcus selects the NCR for CRM initiatives
Retail giant Neiman Marcus has selected Dayton, Ohio-based NCR Corp.'s Teradata data warehouse software to help it support and implement its CRM strategy. The Dallas-based company has 33 stores in 20 states across the U.S., along with a Web presence.
Kia deploys Nortel call center software
Irvine, Calif.-based Kia Motors America has installed e-business software from Brampton, Ontario-based Nortel Networks to provide a single, integrated CRM system that creates seamless customer experiences and encourages customer loyalty. Kia is using Clarify eFrontOffice, which spans four regional offices and an outsourced call center.
