Commence announces CRM software upgrade
Oakhurst, N.J.-based Commence Corp. has announced the next version of Commence 2000, Commence Relationship Management. The new software has an account management database with customizable applications, including sales force automation, marketing campaign automation, customer service, contact management and help desk initiatives. It also has an updated interface that features a digital dashboard, which allows users to call up specific items from the database.
PurpleYogi unveils new software family
Mountain View, Calif.-based PurpleYogi Inc. has announced its family of enterprise software, consisting of two modules. The PurpleYogi Discovery System automates the process of organizing, classifying and presenting unstructured text-based information. Meanwhile, the PurpleYogi Classification Server has classification technology that can be embedded into existing corporate applications, such as enterprise search engines, news aggregation services, CRM, sales force automation tools, content management software, document management systems and corporate portals.

Cincinnati-based PlanetFeedback, an online consumer feedback service, has announced the availability of ExpressFeedback. This is a new CRM tool that will help companies collect and analyze customer feedback. This feedback can then be funneled into a company's CRM system.
