VorTecs, CosmoCom integrate contact center software
VorTecs, a professional services and consulting company headquartered in Shelton, Conn., and CosmoCom, a Melville, N.Y.-based provider of all-IP contact center infrastructure to service providers, have announced that VorTecs will integrate CosmoCom's CosmoCall Universe multimedia call center software into next generation contact centers. The pairing will allow VorTecs to offer its customers multi-channel contact centers that support telephone, voice and video over the Internet, keyboard chat, interactive voice response (IVR), e-mail, voice mail and fax.
Corcentric plans Web-based customer service for auto, truck aftermarket
McLean, Va.-based Corcentric, a developer and provider of private online trading communities for the automotive and heavy-duty truck industries, has announced it will introduce a new Web self-service customer service tool that can be integrated into a manufacturer's CRM system. Called Corcentric Mp, it is a Web-based portal that allows aftermarket distributors to access multiple manufacturers' real-time customer service information.
