Well-known CRM consultancy ISM Inc. released its 10th annual listing of leading software vendors, based on a series of tests the firm runs in its Bethesda, Md. labs.
ISM announced the 2002 Top 30 CRM software lineup and honored the first 15 companies on the list at an awards ceremony held in Chicago on Wednesday. The event was run in conjunction with DCI's CRM Conference and Exposition.
Among the new arrivals on the yearly honor roll of CRM applications were E.piphany E.5, ExSellence v. 4.0, and Oracle CRM Suite 11i v. 5.5.
Other popular software packages included on the list were mySAP CRM 3.0, PeopleSoft 8.1 CRM, Onyx Enterprise 2001, and Siebel 7. Many of the top 15 were previous winners of the award.
ISM said it selects the top vendors after testing dozens of packages in its CRM software labs. According to the firm, the top 15 scored the highest in accordance with some 166 selection criteria, including 107 business functions, 41 technical features and 18 user friendliness/support features.
