Onyx fills executive openings
Bellevue, Wash.-based CRM vendor Onyx Software Corp. announced the appointment of Ben Kiker as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. The company also named Bill Bunker vice president of its financial services vertical market group. Onyx officials said that Kiker would lead the firm's global marketing team and be responsible corporate and marketing strategy, public and analyst relations, and vertical marketing.

ISM augments consulting team
CRM consultant ISM Inc., Bethesda, Md., announced that it hired Steve Pasztor to serve as vice president of consulting services. The company reported that Pasztor would play a role in providing CRM guidance to Fortune 500 clients in the areas of contact centers and operational CRM. Prior to joining ISM, Pasztor spent 17 years with IBM Corp., where he worked in consulting services and as a senior member of IBM's CRM practice.
J.D. Edwards releases demand planning release
Denver-based enterprise applications vendor J.D. Edwards & Co. released the latest version of its demand planning software, which includes technology from supply chain specialist Demantra, a Cambridge, Mass. The company reported that the new offering works with its demand consensus software to create a collaborative forecasting environment across supply chains. J.D. Edwards said it designed the application to help businesses improve supply chain predictability, lower production costs and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Syntellect broadens distribution strategy
Phoenix-based voice automation provider Syntellect Inc. reported that it entered into a distribution agreement with Callista Computer Telephony Inc., Toronto. Under the agreement, Callista will resell Syntellect's self-service software platform, Vista IMR (interactive media response). The two firms are hoping to tap into the Canadian voice systems market, which is expected to exceed $55 million this year.
Relavis releases eMarketing module
CRM applications maker Relavis Corp., New York, debuted its eBusinessStreams eMarketing package. Company officials said the tool tracks execution and effectiveness of integrated marketing campaigns. The eMarketing offering is available on Lotus Domino and is part of Relavis' CRM suite, which also includes eSales and eService modules.
