for $70 million, Salesforce.com unveiled a migration plan for UpShot users.

UpShot's 1,000 customers are eligible for the San Francisco company's SureShot migration program. Salesforce.com is offering a "seamless transition" to its hosted CRM offering through a specialized migration tool, free training and admission to Dreamforce, Salesforce.com's user conference next month. The first 90 days of Salesforce.com will be free and Salesforce.com pledged to honor existing UpShot contracts for nine months.

The program is immediately available and will run through Nov. 30.

Salesnet, Boston, unveiled a similar program, called Trade Up Choice, offering free migration and discounts.
