Customization tools, a new customer service module and enhanced usability are the highlights of today's release of SalesLogix 6.2.
Best Software Inc., owned by London's The Sage Group plc, issued the latest version of its CRM suite for small and midsized businesses today.
Workflow improvements include a split-screen view that lets users see group lists and individual records at the same time. The software features a revved up SpeedSearch engine to help users scanning a SalesLogix database or network directory for customer information.
The new customer service module enhances the tracking of tickets, service level agreements, price, time and other contract details. Businesses can also choose to give customers access to a Web portal for self-service. Workflow has been improved through user customization, shared contact groups and mail-merge capabilities.
