"By combining our proven technologies, track records in the industry and talented people, we can apply unparalleled insight to help companies transform the way they interact with their customers," Jim Foy, Concerto's president and CEO, said in a release.

Rockwell FirstPoint Contact's former president, Terry Murphy, will assume the role of executive vice president of corporate development at Concerto.

One day later, Bellevue, Wash.-based Talisma Corp. acquired eAssist, a customer service, support and marketing software company based in San Diego.

eAssist's contact center products will be combined with Talisma's multi-channel CRM platform to leverage the customer interaction management segment of CRM, according to Talisma.

Terms of the deal were not released.
