In 2005, Indianapolis, Ind.-based Aprimo acquired DoubleClick's Enterprise Marketing Solutions business unit, including SmartPath and Ensemble.

A key element of Aprimo Marketing 7.5 is the Integration Workbench, which allows real-time exchange of data between Aprimo Marketing and enterprise applications such as SAP and Oracle. The Integration Workbench provides an XML toolkit that provides for seamless transfer of data to any other application that provides open connectivity.

Most full-scale implementations of Aprimo Marketing 7.5 start at $100,000, but costs vary due to implementation size and scope.
