- The Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP)
organization is an international society established in 1952 for financial and
technology professionals who work in the hospitality industry. HFTP serves 4,300
members. Member benefits include professional development seminars, information
resources, a Web site with an area for members only, a fax-on-demand service
that provides 24-hour access to forms and other commonly requested items, and
access to sharing information with other hospitality professionals. HFTP also
offers job opportunities and resume listings at JobMart.com and in their
professional journal, Bottomline.
The most important benefit of HFTP is the Hospitality
Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC). HITEC is hosted three
days each year by HFTP to provide hands-on experience with hospitality
technology products and services. Attendees can attend educational seminars
about new hospitality technologies or visit the 750 plus exhibition booths.
