Huntington Bank CIO discusses social enterprises and enterprise licenses

Salesforce.com's annual Dreamforce conference wasn't short on announcements.

Among the products and plans the company rolled out were a new enterprise license agreement, allowing companies to circumvent the per-user-based licenses that can be tricky for large customers, and new capabilities for Chatter, its collaboration platform.

In this video, Zahid Afzal, CIO of Columbus Ohio-based Huntington Bank, discusses how the bank worked with Salesforce.com and Bluewolf to let non-sales users connect to the system and leverage back office processes on Force.com. They did so without the need for full Saleforce.com user licenses. He also shares his appreciation for Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff's view of the social enterprise and how Huntington Bank created an internal, Facebook-like tool to facilitate the CRM implementation.
